Liberia Reaffirms Commitment to UNESCO’s Priorities

At the 222nd Session of the UNESCO Executive Board in Paris, Minister of Education Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah reaffirmed Liberia’s strong partnership with UNESCO and called for greater action to support teachers, equity, digital transformation, and cultural preservation across Africa and Least Developed Countries (LDCs).

She emphasized the need to move “from dialogue to focused delivery,” ensuring that global commitments translate into tangible results for learners.

Minister Jallah also highlighted education as the foundation of peace, prosperity, and dignity, echoing Liberia’s dedication to sustainable development, inclusion, and innovation.
