What if children ran the Ministry of Education for a day?

On World Children’s Day, we didn’t imagine it, we lived it.

Under the theme “My Day, My Rights,” the Ministry opened its doors, boardrooms, and leadership seats to the Children’s Parliament Committee on Education… and let them lead with confidence and courage.

Not symbolically.

Not for show.

But for real.

They brought the clarity and honesty only children can offer, examining priorities, raising pressing issues, challenging assumptions, and suggesting bold ideas for safer, more inclusive schools.

Our role as adults was simple: to listen. Because child rights aren’t slogans; they’re lived realities; the right to protection, to quality education, and to be heard without fear. Children aren’t waiting for tomorrow to lead. Give them space, and they lead today.

Happy Children’s Day from the Ministry of Education!
