In an effort to strengthen the education system, the Ministry of Education with funding from the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) is implementing a 4-year project geared towards improving equitable access to early childhood education, teacher quality in early childhood education, primary education in targeted disadvantaged counties, and strengthen National School Accountability Systems.

Monrovia, Liberia – In an effort to complete the academic year 2018/2019, the Ministry of Education is encouraging school administrators and proprietors to comply with all regulations set forth including adherence to timeline of the academic calendar which indicates that academic period for 2018/2019 runs from September 3, 2018, to July 19, 2019.

Monrovia-Liberia, The Government of Liberia through the Ministry of Education remains committed to supporting Liberian students who are benefiting from bilateral scholarships across the continent and promises to work with partners and stakeholders to ensure that the students’ well-being is paramount, as they go through their academic sojourn.
