2024 Mexican Government Scholarship

Background:
In collaboration with the Government of Mexico, through the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID), the Liberian Government is pleased to offer Medical Specialties scholarships for qualified Liberian students for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Required Documents:
Successful applicants are required to submit the following documents to the Division of Scholarships, Ministry of Education, for vetting and validation:
1. Notarized photocopies of transcript (minimum 3.0 GPA).
2. Notarized photocopies of the degree certificate.
3. Photocopies of birth certificate.
4. Photocopies of passport (ECOWAS-Liberian Biometric passport valid for at least five years).
5. A valid medical certificate (preferably from the Jorkpen Town Medical Lab, located opposite Don Bosco High School, 8th Street, Sinkor).
6. Six recent identical passport-size photos with a white background, with the full name and nationality of the candidate written on the back of each photo.
7. Statement of Intent, which should cover academic background/achievement, reason for the chosen field of study, the applicant’s potential to succeed, and how this degree will benefit Liberia’s development process.
8. Curriculum Vitae (CV) with phone number and email address clearly listed.
9. Two recent letters of recommendation (one professional and one academic).
10. Recent Police Clearance.
