The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with Our Lady of Grace International School, is pleased to announce the awarding of fifteen (15) merit-based scholarships to outstanding prospective Grade 10 Liberian currently enrolled in public schools across Liberia for the 2025–2026 academic year, beginning September 30, 2025.
These prestigious scholarships are designed to recognize academic excellence, strong character, and a commitment to global education through the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy.(www.ibo.org)
Applicants must meet the following eligibility and selection criteria:
* Applicants must be a Liberian
* Applicants must be prospective Grade 10 students at a recognized public school in Liberia.
Placement Testing at Our Lady of Grace International School:
Candidates must achieve the following minimum scores in the placement examinations:
* English Language: 80/100
* Mathematics: 80/100
* Sciences: 75/100
French: A placement test
Admission Requirements:
* Recommendation Letter
A signed letter of recommendation from the school Principal attesting to the student’s discipline, attendance, motivation, and behavior must be sent directly to the school via email at: info@olgis.org.
* Motivational Letter:
A personal letter of motivation written in English, expressing the student’s interest in the IB program and commitment to academic excellence. (www.ibo.org)
* A portfolio showcasing the student’s extracurricular activities, leadership experiences, and notable achievements.
* Application Form & Academic Records
A completed application form (attached) along with official academic transcripts from the applicant’s current school.
Interview with School Officials.
Shortlisted candidates will undergo a final interview with either the School Director or the Diploma Programme Coordinator as part of the selection process.
Application forms can be picked up from and submitted to the Division of Scholarships at the Ministry of Education Ministerial Complex, Congo Town, Monrovia – Liberia
