2025-2026 EGYTIAN GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP

BACKGROUND:

The Liberian Government, in collaboration with the Government of Egypt, invites applicants to take advantage of the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) for postgraduate studies (MS.c, or Ph.D) under the TICAD8 Scholarships for the academic year 2025/2026;

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Applicants shall be researchers or instructors who need to obtain (MS.c or Ph.D) degree in the field of Science or Engineering.

Successful applicants would be required to forward the following documents in (THREE BROWN A4 ENVELOPES) to the Division of Scholarships, Ministry of Education for vetting after they have obtained admission:

 Notarized photocopies of transcript (3.0 GPA) for Master’s candidates, and 80% average for undergraduate candidates;

 Notarized photocopies of the degree certificate or high school diploma;

 Photocopies of birth certificate;

 WASSCE or WAEC certificate for undergraduate candidates;

 Photocopies of passport (ECOWAS-Liberian Biometric passport valid for at least

five years);

 A VALID medical certificate (preferably, the Jorkpen Town Medical Lab, located opposite Don Bosco High School, 8 th Street, Sinkor);

 Six recent white background (identical) passport size photos with the full name and nationality of the candidate written at the back of each photo;

 STATEMENT OF INTENT: should cover (academic background/achievement, reason for the chosen field of study, the applicant’s potential to succeed and how this degree, when conferred, would benefit Liberia’s development process);

 CV (with phone number and e-mail address clearly listed);

 Two recent letters of recommendation (one professional and one academic);

 Recent Police Clearance.
