2025 Matsumae International Foundation Post-Doctoral Fellowship
Background
The Matsumae International Foundation, in collaboration with the Government of Liberia, is offering a prestigious Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program for 2025 in Japan.

Submission Requirements
Successful applicants are required to submit the following documents to the Division of Scholarships, Ministry of Education, Liberia, for vetting and validation:
Academic Documents:
Notarized photocopy of an official transcript (minimum GPA of 3.0).
Notarized photocopy of the degree certificate.
Personal Identification:
Photocopy of a valid birth certificate.
Photocopy of a valid ECOWAS-Liberian Biometric Passport (valid for at least five years).
Medical & Security Requirements:
A valid medical certificate (Preferably from Jorkpen Town Medical Lab, located opposite Don Bosco High School, 8th Street, Sinkor).
A recent police clearance.
Photographs:
Six recent passport-sized photos with a white background (identical).
The applicant’s full name and nationality must be clearly written on the back of each photo.
Supporting Documents:
A Statement of Intent detailing:
Academic background and achievements.
Reason for choosing the field of study.
Potential to succeed in the program.
How the fellowship will contribute to Liberia’s development.
A comprehensive CV (clearly listing phone number and email address.
Two recent letters of recommendation (one professional and one academic.
