Ministry of Education Collaborates With UNICEF to Launch School Enrollment Drive Campaign

The Ministry of Education, through the Bureau of Basic & Secondary Education, is starting a nationwide Enrollment Drive Campaign in Liberia. This campaign aims to increase the number of students enrolled in schools at all educational levels across the country.
In a recent meeting with UNICEF representatives, Assistant Minister for Basic & Secondary Education, Honorable Kangar, highlighted the campaign’s inclusive approach. He emphasized the collaboration among key stakeholders, including the President, the National Legislature, the Senate, local authorities, development partners, and the education sector, to ensure the campaign’s success.
Honorable Kangar assured that the campaign will cover all regions, counties, and districts to maximize its impact on increasing school enrollment. This effort demonstrates a strong commitment to promoting education and expanding access to schooling for all students in Liberia.
Minister of Education, Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah, stressed the importance of a comprehensive approach to improve school enrollment rates. She highlighted the need for baseline methodologies and strategies that actively engage teachers and administrators. This collaborative effort aims to leverage the expertise and dedication of educators to boost enrollment growth.
UNICEF representatives praised the Ministry for its commitment to strengthening school enrollment nationwide. They highlighted the importance of a multifaceted approach, which includes:
