Ministry of Education Concludes School Inspection in Sinoe County

Greenville City, Sinoe County, March 29, 2024 – The Ministry of Education has recently finalized a thorough assessment of the education system in Sinoe County, with the aim of gathering vital data for the region’s advancement.

This assessment has facilitated the identification of specific measures necessary to enhance the educational infrastructure of the county.

Various evaluations were carried out in Sinoe, including on-site campus inspections, classroom assessments, reviews of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs, student engagement initiatives, stakeholder consultations, and other pertinent activities.

During a significant stakeholder session at Sinoe Multilateral High School, Minister of Education, Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah, reaffirmed the Liberian Government’s commitment to prioritizing educational development through the ARREST agenda.

Minister Jallah emphasized the Government’s dedication to addressing persistent challenges within the education sector, demonstrated by the recent increase in the proposed Education budget presented to the National Legislature.

It is noteworthy that the evaluated schools in Sinoe County serve diverse communities within the region.

Among the institutions assessed were Frank Brown School, Sinoe Demonstration School, S. J. C Davies Junior High School, St. Paul Parish School, Seebeh School, Sinoe Multilateral School, Sinoe Multilateral TVET, Sinoe Extension School, Learning Resources Center, Gibsonville Elementary & Junior High School, and Geetroh High School, among others.

The evaluation of these schools is pivotal to elevating educational standards and providing quality learning experiences for students.
