Ministry of Education Inspectorate Team Completes School Assessment Tour in Grand Cape Mount County

Robertsport City, Grand Cape Mount County, LIBERIA – June 15, 2024 – The Ministry of Education has successfully concluded a comprehensive school inspection tour in Grand Cape Mount County. This tour is a part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to rigorously evaluate the educational system and ensure high-quality education across Liberia.

The inspection team visited the following schools:

1. Gbah Foboi Public School

2. Robertsport Demonstration School

3. Robertsport High School

4. Sinje Public School

5. Daniel F. Tolbert Memorial and TVT School

6. Bo Community High School

7. Tieni Wonde Elementary, Junior & Senior High School

8. 2nd Chance School, run by LIPACE with support from LUMINOS

The purpose of this assessment was to identify both achievements and challenges within the educational system. The Ministry of Education is committed to addressing these challenges, prioritizing the most urgent issues, and subsequently tackling the rest as resources become available.

This systematic process of monitoring and supervision underscores the Ministry’s unwavering dedication to achieving tangible, positive changes in Liberia’s education system.
