Ministry of Education Refutes Media Publication asserting that Minister Jarso Maley Jallah failed to declare Assests

( February 12, 2025, Monrovia – Liberia)

The Ministry of Education categorically refutes the assertions circulating on various social media platforms, which alleged that the Minister of Education, Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah, is among a number of government officials exhibiting non-compliance and defiance concerning the President’s directive mandating the full declaration of assets.

Contrary to these claims, Minister Jallah was among several government officials who duly complied with the asset declaration requirements within the stipulated timeframe.

The Ministry emphasizes its commitment to transparency, accountability, and adherence to governance principles as mandated by law.

Consequently, the Ministry of Education is pleased to assure the public that Dr. Jallah is not amongst those subjected to the one-month suspension announced by His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr.

We urge the public and media institutions to verify information from credible sources before publication to avoid the spread of misinformation.

The Ministry remains open to engagement and welcomes inquiries to ensure accurate reporting on matters of national interest.
