This momentous celebration marked the 95th anniversary of the esteemed institution, held under the theme “REBRANDING and Transforming BWI to a Technical University for the 21st Century.”

This anniversary signifies nearly a century of BWI’s invaluable contributions to education and community development. For 95 years, BWI has been a cornerstone of agricultural, industrial, and technical education, empowering both men and women with essential skills to become productive and reliable leaders locally and internationally.

In anticipation of its centenary in five years, BWI proudly commemorates the induction of its first female Principal, highlighting a progressive stride toward gender equality in leadership. This landmark achievement underscores BWI’s commitment to evolving and advancing in alignment with 21st-century educational standards.
