Hands-on learning is reaching our classrooms.
The Ministry of Education has begun distributing Science Kits to elementary public schools in Montserrado County to strengthen early science learning and spark curiosity among young learners.
These kits support practical, hands-on instruction, helping students move beyond theory to observation, experimentation, and problem-solving—skills that are essential for building strong foundations in STEM.
Schools receiving the first phase of distribution include B.W. Payne Public School, Wein Town Public School, Kendeja Elementary Public School (Annex I and II), Paynesville Community School, E.J. Goodridge Memorial Elementary Public School, Special Project Elementary Public School, William Gabriel Kpolleh Memorial Public School, and Euphemia K. Abdullah Elementary Public School.

The distribution was led by the Assistant Minister for TVET, Hon. Nathaniel K. Cisco, as part of the Ministry’s broader effort to improve instructional quality and ensure public school students have access to the tools they need to learn effectively.
Similar distributions will continue across other counties as we strengthen science education nationwide.
