Minister of Education Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah today attended the graduation of the Frontier Tech Leaders (FTL) Liberia Machine Learning Boot Camp at the University of Liberia.

The programme, implemented by UNDP and the UN Technology Bank with national partners, equips young Liberians including women and persons with disabilities with practical skills in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Python.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Jallah described the graduation as an important step in Liberia’s digital transformation, encouraging graduates to apply technology responsibly to solve real problems in health, education, governance, and industry. She reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to STEM education, digital learning, and skills development aligned with the ARREST Agenda.

As Liberia invests in human capital, initiatives like FTL demonstrate how education, technology, and opportunity can come together to prepare young people for the future of work.
