Minister of Education Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah Pays Heartbreaking Tribute to the Late Ambassador Sylvester M. Grigsby

Monrovia, Liberia – August 14, 2025

In deep national mourning, Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah joined President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. and senior officials at the Executive Mansion to honor the late Ambassador Sylvester M. Grigsby, former Minister of State for Presidential Affairs and one of Liberia’s most respected diplomats.

With visible grief, Dr. Jallah called him “a man of rare humility, unwavering integrity, and selfless devotion to country”, lamenting the painful void his passing leaves.

President Boakai praised him as a statesman and mentor whose legacy of wisdom, honor, and service will inspire generations.
