Washington, D.C. | Liberia’s First Annual Diaspora Conference 2025
At the first Diaspora Conference, the Ministry of Education joined H.E. President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. and cabinet leaders to chart a collective vision for national renewal.
In her keynote, Minister of Education Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah called on Liberians in the diaspora to reimagine their role, not as supporters on the sidelines, but as co-architects of a stronger education system.
She emphasized that every contribution, whether mentorship, innovation, investment, or advocacy, should help ensure no child is left behind, no teacher stands unsupported, and no school is left without hope.
Education is at the heart of Liberia’s ARREST Agenda, a foundation for reconciliation, growth, and prosperity. With the diaspora engaged as builders of possibility, classrooms can become spaces of dignity, healing, and opportunity.
Together, at home and abroad, we can shape an education system worthy of Liberia’s future.
