Expanding Global Learning Pathways for Liberian Students
The Ministry of Education today deepened Liberia’s connection to international academic opportunities through a focused Erasmus Information Session held at the Ministerial Complex in Monrovia.
The session brought together university leaders, youth groups, students, and educators to explore new possibilities for academic mobility, institutional partnerships, and competitive scholarship programs.
Participants received a practical introduction to the Erasmus+ Programme, the European Union’s flagship initiative for education, youth development, and research cooperation.
A detailed briefing on the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Scholarship highlighted fully funded study opportunities across multiple European universities, along with guidance on preparing strong motivation letters and academic CVs.

Minister of Education Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to widening global learning opportunities as part of Liberia’s broader human-capacity development goals.
She emphasized that deeper participation in Erasmus+ will help strengthen academic standards, expand partnerships, and create new pathways for Liberian students to engage with the world.
