Local Scholarship Announcement for Undergraduate and Graduate Programs

The Ministry of Education is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Government of Liberia Local Scholarship Program for the 2025/2026 academic year, commencing on August 20, 2025.
This initiative reaffirms the government’s commitment to expanding access to quality higher education for students across all 15 counties.

Where to Obtain Application Forms
Forms can be collected at the following locations:
Ministry of Education, Division of Scholarships, Ministerial Complex, Congo Town, Monrovia
Offices of County Education Officers (CEOs) in all 15 counties
Required Documents (for Form Collection)
Applicants must present the following documents when collecting application forms:
High School Transcript

University Admission Letter
Current University Grade Sheet
Form Submission Locations
Completed forms must be submitted to:
Ministry of Education, Division of Scholarships, Ministerial Complex, Congo Town, Monrovia
Offices of the County Education Officers (CEOs) in all 15 counties
Scholarship Eligibility & Requirements
Scholarships are merit-based.
Applicants must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 to qualify and remain eligible.
Current beneficiaries with a GPA of 3.0 or higher will continue to receive support.
