Message from the Minister of Education
Republic of Liberia

Dear Students, School Administrators, Teachers, and Parents,
On behalf of the Government of Liberia and the Ministry of Education, I am delighted to welcome you all to the 2025/2026 Academic Year, which officially commences on September 1, 2025.
The beginning of every school year is a moment of hope and renewed commitment to learning. To our dear students, I encourage you to approach your studies with determination, discipline, and a sense of curiosity.
Education is the key to unlocking your potential and building a brighter future for yourselves and for Liberia.
This government remains committed to creating a safe and conducive learning environment across our schools. We are working diligently to provide the necessary resources, improve school facilities, support our teachers, and ensure that every child has access to quality education.
These efforts are part of our shared vision to give Liberian children the opportunity to thrive and succeed.
To our school administrators and teachers, your leadership and dedication are essential in shaping the next generation.
To our parents and guardians, we value your sacrifice and partnership in nurturing the education of your children.
As we embark on this new academic journey, let us work together – students, educators, parents, and the government – to make this school year productive, inclusive, and inspiring for all.
I wish every student and school community a successful and fulfilling 2025/2026 Academic Year. Welcome back to school!
Sincerely,
Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah
Minister of Education
Republic of Liberia
