August 7, 2025 | Monrovia, Liberia

The Ministry of Education, under the distinguished leadership of Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah, recently welcomed an executive delegation from the National Association of Liberia School Principals (NALSP) during a high-level courtesy visit aimed at strengthening collaboration and advancing education sector reforms.
This significant engagement was marked by the formal submission of NALSP’s revised constitution, alongside its Plan of Action—two pivotal documents intended to reinforce the Association’s governance structure, enhance institutional accountability, and align its strategic direction with national education priorities.
Held at the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Ministerial Complex in Congo Town, Monrovia, the August 5th meeting was characterized by a spirit of mutual respect and professional solidarity.
During the discussions, NALSP leadership reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to supporting the Ministry’s Education Reform Agenda.
The delegation emphasized the urgent need for continuous professional development and capacity-building programs for school principals and educators to foster leadership excellence and drive improved learning outcomes nationwide.
Mr. Darric Dennis, the newly elected President of NALSP, delivered remarks on behalf of the Association.

He commended the Ministry for its progressive leadership and highlighted the critical importance of strengthened collaboration between education policymakers and school administrators.
> “This revised constitution reflects our shared vision for transformative leadership in education,” said Mr. Dennis. “As principals, we are fully committed to working hand-in-hand with the Ministry to ensure quality learning environments, professional excellence, and results-driven school management across Liberia.”
In her official response, Minister Jallah expressed deep appreciation to NALSP for its continued dedication and service to the education sector.

She lauded the submission of both the revised constitution and Plan of Action as timely and visionary instruments for reform.
The Minister further pledged the Ministry’s support, particularly for the Professional Development and Capacity Building components of the plan, which directly align with Priority #3 of the Education Reform Agenda: Strengthening Teacher Training, Development, and Support.
> “This revised constitution and Plan of Action are clear demonstrations of NALSP’s vision and readiness to lead with integrity,” Minister Jallah stated. “As a Ministry, we welcome and value this level of professional engagement.
Together, we will ensure that every Liberian child benefits from quality, inclusive, and equitable education—guided by well-trained, motivated, and accountable school leaders.”
The meeting concluded on an optimistic note, with both parties reaffirming their shared responsibility to deepen collaboration, promote institutional excellence, and advance sustainable reforms across Liberia’s education landscape.
