Monrovia, Liberia – July 24, 2025

In a momentous celebration of patriotism, integrity, and national service, His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., President of the Republic of Liberia and Grand Master of the Order of Distinction, today presided over an official Investiture Ceremony at the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Ministerial Complex in Monrovia.

The prestigious national event recognized eleven exemplary Liberians whose innovation, courage, and selfless service have significantly shaped Liberia’s development landscape across education, diplomacy, justice, academia, philanthropy, and civic engagement.

Among the honorees was Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah, Minister of Education, who was awarded the distinguished Dame Grand Band of the Humane Order of African Redemption (DGB-HOAR).

Dr. Jallah’s recognition is a tribute to her visionary leadership in education reform, her inclusive approach to national development, and her relentless pursuit of equitable learning opportunities for all Liberian children.
