Today, the Ministry of Education marked a significant milestone with the groundbreaking of the Liberia School of the Blind Extension Project in Brewerville, an important step toward expanding access and dignity for visually impaired learners.
Aligned with the ARREST Agenda of Joseph Nyuma Boakai and financed through the Public Sector Investment Project (PSIP), the extension will provide modern, accessible classrooms, improved dormitories, and specialized learning facilities to better support students’ academic and personal development.
Minister of Education Jarso Maley Jallah underscored that the investment reflects Liberia’s commitment to equity and to ensuring that no child is left behind in the nation’s development journey.

The ceremony was witnessed by senior Ministry officials, demonstrating unified leadership in advancing inclusive education. On behalf of the school community, Principal Jackson Suah expressed gratitude for the government’s continued support.
This project represents a reaffirmation of Liberia’s resolve to build an education system where every learner can thrive.
