2024 Scholarships Announcement to Germany
BACKGROUND:
The Liberian Government, through the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), offers graduate scholarships for Liberian scholars to pursue graduate studies in various disciplines at German Universities for the 2025/2026 Academic Year.

Detailed information regarding the offer, requirements, online application and important dates can be obtained from the following website: www.daad.de/epos .
Successful applicants are required to forward the following documents to the Division of Scholarships, Ministry of Education for vetting and validation:
Notarized photocopies of transcript (3.0 GPA) ONLY;
Notarized photocopies of the degree certificate
Photocopies of birth certificate;
Photocopies of passport (ECOWAS-Liberian Biometric passport valid for at least
five years);
A VALID medical certificate (preferably, the Jorkpen Town Medical Lab, located opposite Don Bosco High School, 8 th Street, Sinkor);
Six recent white background (identical) passport size photos with the full name and nationality of the candidate written at the back of each photo;
STATEMENT OF INTENT: should cover (academic background/achievement, reason for the chosen field of study, the applicant’s potential to succeed and how this degree, when conferred, would benefit Liberia’s development process);
CV (with phone number and e-mail address clearly listed);
Two recent letters of recommendation (one professional and one academic);
Recent Police Clearance
