Liberia Education Minister and Team Depart Monrovia For A Nationwide Tour

(February 28, 2022, Monrovia -Liberia)-Education Minister Prof. D. Ansu Sonii and Team have begun a month-long nationwide tour of schools in the country.

The trip is assessing ongoing renovation, rehabilitation of public schools under the IRISE Projects.

The tour will deepen conversation between Minister Sonii’s team and school administrators in the various counties. Prof. Sonii said the visit will also ensure schools’ monitoring, supervision, and holding of Town Hall meetings.

The Minister of Education makes a remark during his tour in lower Margibi County.

The tour began today at the John P. Mitchell High School in Marshall Lower Margibi County. Schools in Margibi, Montserrado, Bong, Lofa, and Nimba are in the first phase of the ongoing nationwide tour.

Meanwhile, the touring of renovated facilities in Margibi County continues today at the A.D Peabody Public School Marshall Lower Margibi County.

The Minister’s tour will also be followed by the inspection of schools in Grand Gedeh, Grand Kru, Rivergee, Maryland, Sinoe Counties and climaxed with Gbarpolu, Grand Cape Mount and Bomi Counties accordingly.
