(September 14, 2022, Monrovia, Liberia)- As envisioned by the Ministry of Education to improve and standardize the Education system of Liberia, the Ministry with support from the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) through the GPE COVID-19 Education in Emergency Project, with UNICEF as Grant Agent, has begun the distribution of Civic books, Revised National curriculum for Grade 1 through 12th, Early Childhood Education Curriculum, Early Childhood learning kits, Early Childhood Education workbooks, Disability Leaning Kits, Teacher Guide and other learning Materials throughout the Counties to enhance the delivery of quality learning outcomes.
The distribution of these essential instructional materials by the Ministry is the first of its kind geared towards improving learning objectives and outcomes, student’s capacity acceleration, teacher’s enhancement with specific focus in teaching management and lessons presentation and above all supporting students with special needs.
The exercise has officially begun in Bomi and is being rollout to other Counties, targeting all Public schools with the needed provision mentioned above to enhance student’s ability and development intended to adequately and effectively prepare them for the future ahead.
Meanwhile, upon receipt of these essential Leaning materials, the Ministry urged schools’ administration and students to use them for the intended purpose and not to be sold.
