Ministry of Education Inspectorate Team Climaxes School Assessment Tour in Nimba County

Gompa City, Nimba County, Liberia – June 8, 2024

The Ministry of Education has successfully concluded a comprehensive inspection tour of schools in Nimba County. The schools visited during this tour include:

1. Williams V.S. Tubman High School

2. Venn Town Public School

3. Ganta Model School

4. Sanniquellie Central High School

5. Karn High School

6. Karn Elementary School

7. Unification Town Public School

8. Arcelor Mittal Vocational and Technical Center

9. Liberia International Christian College (LICC)

10. Riverview International Christian Academy

11. Johnny Voker Public School

12. Bahn Central High School

13. J.W. Pearson Extension High School

14. Christian Foundation Deaf Community School

15. J.W. Pearson High School

Among others.

The primary objective of this assessment tour was to rigorously evaluate the educational system, focusing on identifying barriers that hinder the achievement of equitable, accessible, and high-quality education throughout Liberia.

The Ministry of Education is committed to addressing these educational challenges and is confident in its ability to garner the necessary support to bridge gaps impeding Liberia’s educational progress.
