Temporary Suspension of Schools in Anticipation of Inauguration Program

(Liberia, Monrovia, January 19, 2024) – The Ministry of Education announces a brief nationwide suspension of primary, junior, and secondary schools in anticipation of the upcoming government inauguration on January 22, 2024.

The temporary closure is scheduled for Monday, January 22, 2024, with normal classes resuming on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. 

We urge school authorities to adhere to the provided guidelines for the seamless continuation of school activities during this brief hiatus.
